About the host
Radha Friedman is a philanthropy and social impact advisor who helps individuals, foundations and businesses do their greatest social good. Her work has spanned over 60 countries, where she has overseen over 100 grants to advance justice. Radha is on a mission to encourage investing in women of color and historically marginalized groups, who receive less than 2% of philanthropic donations.
Radha is the founder & SheO ofRadha Friedman Consulting, and has consulted with some of the world's largest foundations, including advising the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation on their gender equality strategy and the Clinton Global Initiative on their Network on Women & Girls Economic Empowerment.
Her work has engaged a diverse range of people, from Nobel Prize laureates including the Dalai Lama, Shirin Ebadi, and Mary Robinson, to artists including Ai WeiWei and The Beastie Boys. Radha was a co-founder of the Landesa Center for Women’s Land Rights (winner of the world's largest humanitarian prize) and has been named a fellow by the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations, American Express Foundation, Independent Sector, Henry M. Jackson Foundation, and the Global Women’s Leadership Network.
